Here lately Callie has been very imaginative lately, playing all sorts of new games. Her latest imaginary game that she likes to play is having puppies. She will go into my room, lie on my bed, and remain quiet and still for up to 30 minutes at a time. At first I thought she was napping. Then when I realized she was wide awake, I thought she may feel ill. Then I just asked her, and her response was, "I'm getting my rest because I'm having puppies." She'll lie there rubbing her belly and taking care of her imaginary puppies. "Do you want to hold one?" she'll ask. Her expressions and gestures are so convincing. It cracks me up!
LOL...that is hilarious...ask Callie can I have one of her puppies or is she going to keep them all?
ReplyDeleteThat is the funniest thing I have ever heard! Maybe it's a combination of having seen Dad's dogs have puppies and Mom having a baby recently?!? LOL!
